Get to Know Me

Bob Lee has been a San Francisco resident for most of his life and represents all clients from first-time buyers to sellers of all ages, including family trusts.

House hunting with his wife in the early 1970s led Bob to become fully involved in the design and building of the home where they still reside. Inspired to continue, Bob earned his real estate license in 1974 and worked in the industry for the last seven years of his 13-year career in professional football. After retiring from the NFL, Bob earned his broker’s license in the early 1980s and went on to form and act as the general partner on several custom residential home projects in San Francisco and Marin counties — in addition to continuing to represent clients on purchases and sales.

A master’s degree and his professional football career prepared Bob for life’s inevitable challenges and have influenced his committed approach to real estate and his clients. Each real estate transaction is a journey in itself — no two are the same. Bob genuinely enjoys working with people to help them achieve their personal goals while networking and making new friends.

Bob has been married to his wife, Janice, a former career teacher in San Francisco Unified School District, since 1970. Together, they have three grown children and five grandchildren. Along the way, they have continually supported their community, serving on the boards of various organizations. In 2007, Bob was just the 13th person in the now 60-year history of the National Football Foundation’s Northern California Chapter to be honored with the Distinguished American Award for his community service. Other notable honorees are former 49ers coaches Bill Walsh and George Seifert.
