Meet Nicole Kay

Nicole Kay is a San Francisco-based NAR member with City Real Estate, known for her warm, strategic, and highly personalized approach to real estate. She brings nearly a decade of title and escrow experience, years of full-time production within one of SF’s top-performing teams, and a deep commitment to helping her clients navigate big transitions with confidence and clarity. With a sharp eye for detail, a fierce work ethic, and a heart-led approach, Nicole is trusted by first-time buyers, seasoned sellers, and fellow agents alike.

Nicole leads every transaction with care, whether she’s helping a buyer understand a dense disclosure package or preparing a property for market with intention and impact. She is a specialist in seller preparation, managing everything from pre-list renovations to custom staging and design coordination. Her work doesn’t stop at the closing table. She remains a hands-on resource for her buyers long after the keys are handed over, helping them navigate post-purchase renovations, vendor referrals, and the ongoing needs that come with turning a house into a home. Backed by City Real Estate’s powerhouse team of in-house marketers, designers, operations managers, and trusted vendors, she ensures her clients receive white-glove support from beginning to beyond.

During her years as a key member of the Cohen Group, Nicole built and ran her own business while also contributing to some of the team’s most high-profile projects, including the luxury launch of 1776 Green Street. From $500,000 condos to $20 million estates, she’s worked with clients across the spectrum. That range has only deepened her belief that everyone deserves the same level of attention, advocacy, and care. Her unwavering consistency is part of who she is and was further sharpened by the trust and high standards that defined her time on David Cohen’s team.

Nicole has been deeply involved with the San Francisco Association of REALTORS® for nearly a decade. She served as Chair of the Young Professionals Network (YPN) in 2024 and Co-Chair the year prior, after years of active participation and community building. Her work has not only earned her recognition locally, but also nationally. She was selected as a Final 50 candidate for the National Association of REALTORS®’ 30 Under 30 program, a testament to her rising impact in the industry.

She is also recognized for her knowledge of Tenancy-in-Common (TIC) sales and led a well-regarded three-part webinar series for fellow NAR members to help reframe the conversation around this often misunderstood property type. Her deep ties in the agent community regularly create access to off-market opportunities, and clients often describe her as someone who anticipates needs before they’re even spoken.

Nicole is not only a fierce advocate in the industry, but a passionate supporter of causes close to her heart. She’s actively involved with nonprofits including the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, Safe & Sound, and Home for a Home. A lifelong dancer and creative at heart, she brings empathy, energy, and a strong sense of connection to everything she does, often juggling listing launches with rehearsals and client calls with costume changes. Her clients describe her as a bright light, a calm presence, and a fierce negotiator. She blends market savvy with emotional intelligence and makes the process feel not only seamless, but deeply supported. For Nicole, it’s not just about closing deals. It’s about showing up, building trust, and helping people feel seen, heard, and genuinely cared for through every step.
